Top 300 Fantasy Baseball Rankings Updates
The barrage of injuries continues. Wyatt Langford was placed on the 10-day injured list due to an oblique issue but the expectation is that he won't need a lengthy stay, which is also true of Jackson Merrill (hamstring). Blake Snell (shoulder) and Justin Steele (elbow) could miss significant time, while Pablo Lopez (hamstring) hopes to be back soon. We're also expecting ace Spencer Strider back in action shortly while prospect buzz around Nick Kurtz, Bubba Chandler, and Roman Anthony continues to build.
Some players are off to a terrific start, while some have struggled mightily to kick off April. Which of these starts do we take seriously, and which do we put less stock into? Is it time to elevate our expectations on certain players and elevate touted prospects into a higher tier for fantasy baseball leagues? How much patience must we show for highly touted players who have struggled out of the gate, especially veterans with proven track records?
Hopefully, the rankings below will give you some perspective on our thoughts on these topics and help you assess the strength of your rosters going forward. Let's see where players such as Kyren Paris, Teoscar Hernandez, Seiya Suzuki, Spencer Strider, Tyler Soderstrom, Brice Turang, Jesus Luzardo, Kris Bubic, and Jose Alvarado are listed in our early rest of-season rankings.
Rest-Of-Season Fantasy Baseball Rankings (Week 3 Update)
These rankings will be updated every week throughout the season, so some of these situations are very fluid. It's not time to overreact, and we may not be ready to elevate hot-starting players into the elite yet, either, but it's certainly a good checkpoint for the long fantasy season.
