Welcome to our Top 750 Saves+Holds fantasy baseball rankings for the 2025 season -- in addition to the relief pitchers, these rankings include the top 750 players for all positions to help assess where relievers fit in. Saves+Holds (or SV+HLD, or SOLDS) are fantasy baseball league formats that count Saves+Holds as one category, rather than just saves. These rankings are put together by RotoBaller's MLB lead and senior fantasy analyst Nick Mariano.
Saves+Holds fantasy baseball leagues help fantasy leagues reward the best arms regardless of the inning. This can provide more value for various relief pitchers, especially those who rack up holds, rather than just chasing closers and saves. Be sure to also check out our other fantasy baseball holds and relief pitcher articles, and bookmark our constantly updated fantasy baseball closers and saves depth charts.
Reminder: A hold is recorded when a relief pitcher enters with a lead of three runs or less, or with the tying run on deck, at the plate, or on base, and maintains that lead while recording at least one out. Read on and you'll see where I rank each player, and what tier they're in.
