Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (ribs) also landed on the IL with a left rib contusion. Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Alek Manoah has struggled mightily this season with a (1-7) record, 6.36 ERA, and a 1.90 WHIP across 58 innings. He was optioned to the team's Florida Complex League on Tuesday.
