1 week agoSacramento Kings guard Malik Monk (illness) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Monk was a late addition to the injury report and will now sit out due to an illness. The absence of Monk should mean increased roles for Devin Carter and Keon Ellis on Saturday. Ellis has the higher ceiling between the two players, but also posted zero points across 17 points during his last game. Fantasy managers should be able to find a better streaming choice ahead of Saturday's slate.Source: NBA Injury Report
1 week agoChicago Bulls guard Tre Jones (foot) is going to be sidelined for the next few weeks. The team announced that Jones is set to miss at least the next two weeks after suffering a left foot sprain on Thursday. This is a tough blow to the Bulls who are already without Lonzo Ball (wrist) and Ayo Dosunmu (shoulder) right now. The absence of Jones means increased roles for Kevin Huerter and Talen Horton-Tucker. Between the two, Huerter is the better streaming choice due to scoring ability.Source: Chicago Bulls
1 week agoAtlanta Hawks forward Caris LeVert (knee) will suit up on Saturday versus the Warriors. The veteran has played well since being traded to Atlanta, averaging 16.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.0 steals. Fortunately, the knee soreness won't keep him off the floor. With so many injuries on the Atlanta roster, LeVert should remain involved enough to warrant consideration for any fantasy lineup, although his presence will likely mean less work for Georges Niang.Source: NBA Injury Report
1 week agoAtlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (Achilles) is good to go for Saturday's meeting with the Warriors. The former Oklahoma Sooner was listed as probable heading into this contest. But that's nothing new, considering he's played through Achilles tendinitis for nearly the entire 2024-25 campaign. Young struggled versus Golden State when these clubs met back in November, amassing only 12 points and shooting 1-for-6 from behind the arc. Still, it's logical to assume he'll be much more productive, especially with so many injuries on the roster.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke (knee) will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Clarke suffered a high-grade PCL sprain in his right knee which will keep him sidelined. That means the 28-year-old will finish the season with averages of 8.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game across 64 appearances (18 starts). His minutes will likely get split up between Vince Williams Jr., Zach Edey, and Jay Huff until GG Jackson II comes back from his G League assignment. Williams and Edey are the most consistent of this group, especially for fantasy managers looking for points and rebounds.Source: Shams Charania
2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (pelvis) is out for Saturday's game against the Hawks. The multi-time All-Star had 17 points in Thursday's three-point win over the Toronto Raptors. However, he sustained a pelvic contusion after a hard fall and was ruled out after just 25 minutes of work. Curry underwent an MRI, which didn't reveal any structural damage. But the contusion could be enough to keep him off the floor for at least a few games. Without him, Brandin Podziemski will likely take over at the one, increasing his fantasy potential. Jonathan Kuminga, Jimmy Butler III, and Moses Moody should also see more scoring opportunities.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoBrooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell (ankle) won't play on Saturday against Indiana. The veteran had 22 points when these clubs met on Thursday, tying Ziaire Williams (hamstring) for the team-high. Unfortunately, neither player will be on the floor for the rematch. With that said, head coach Jordi Fernandez implied that both men are being held out for precautionary reasons, so there's a chance they'll be back for Monday's clash with the Dallas Mavericks. In the meantime, Keon Johnson and Cameron Johnson have the best shot to lead the way on the scoring end. Tyrese Martin is also expected to spend time at the one, which will surely help his fantasy potential.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoIndiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (back) will suit up for Saturday's meeting with the Brooklyn Nets. He missed the last three games because of back soreness, including Thursday's matchup between both clubs. But now that Haliburton is back for the rematch, he'll reclaim his spot as the team's primary playmaker and ball handler. As such, Bennedict Mathurin, who combined for 73 points while Haliburton was away, likely won't be as productive.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoBrooklyn Nets forward Ziaire Williams (hamstring) won't play on Saturday versus the Indiana Pacers. He tied D'Angelo Russell for a team-high 22 points when these clubs met on Thursday night. However, Brooklyn won't have either player on the floor on Saturday night. Head Coach Jordi Fernandez indicated both are being held out for precautionary reasons and are considered day-to-day, meaning there's a chance they might play on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks. But as far as the rematch is concerned, Keon Johnson and Cameron Johnson could finish the night as Brooklyn's leading scorers. Tyrese Martin may also spend some time at the one, resulting in a bump in usage.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoChicago Bulls guard Tre Jones (foot) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Jones suffered a left foot injury during Thursday's contest. The X-rays came back negative, so he appears to be only dealing with a minor injury. If he sits, Kevin Huerter (thumb) and Dalen Terry figure to absorb bigger roles in the rotation. Also, Coby White and Josh Giddey would be asked to pick up more of the slack, but both players should already be rostered and started in most fantasy formats.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoChicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey (ankle) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Giddey will be back in action following a one-game absence due to an ankle issue. When healthy, Giddey has been on a roll over the last month or so. Most nights, Giddey is putting up nearly a triple-double. That being said, Giddey should be rostered and started in most fantasy formats ahead of Saturday's slate.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoUtah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Boston Celtics. In an unsurprising move, Clarkson will take a seat as the Jazz continue to tank. The 31-year-old is dealing with left foot plantar fasciitis, so hopefully rest will help him. His next chance to get on the court will be Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Svi Mykhailiuk and Isaiah Collier should see increased roles with Clarkson on the sideline. Collier is the much better streaming choice between the two players for Friday's slate.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (illness) is listed as questionable heading into Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets. It's worth noting that center Donovan Clingan is also dealing with an illness and has been ruled out for this game. It could be something going around the locker room, so more players might be late additions to the injury report. If he sits, Scoot Henderson figures to do more of the ball handling which would increase his fantasy value. Fantasy managers will need to check back closer to tip-off.Source: Casey Holdahl
2 weeks agoPhoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen (foot) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Allen will now miss his sixth game in a row due to a strained left foot. The team hasn't given a timetable on his return, but his next chance to play will be against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. The expectation is that Collin Gillespie and Royce O'Neale should see additional playing time with Allen out again. Between the two, O'Neale is the better fantasy option due to his defensive ability.Source: Duane Rankin
2 weeks agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (knee) has been downgraded to out ahead of Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets. In an unsurprising development, Grant has been ruled out for this game after being listed as doubtful coming into it. This marks his fifth absence in a row and it's unclear how much the Blazers plan to use Grant down the stretch of the season. Toumani Camara and Kris Murray should see increased roles once again on Friday. However, Shaedon Sharpe has been benefitting the most from Grant's absence and should continue being a solid fantasy option.Source: Casey Holdahl
