8 months agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez (elbow) has been placed on the 15-day injured list on Tuesday. This news comes after Valdez was scratched from Monday's start due to left elbow soreness. Astros' manager Joe Espada said the plan is to shut down Valdez for a day or two and then he'll be re-evaluated. Blair Henley started in place of Valdez on Monday, so possibly he remains in the rotation. Fantasy managers will have to check back for another update.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
