6 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (back, ribs) said he should be fully available for the interleague series against the Phillies this weekend. However, he's sitting out on Friday night as a precaution after crashing into the outfield wall on Tuesday. "I think it’s more precautionary," Buxton said. "I feel good. I’m about to go swing in the cage, do my normal routine. Normal day." Buxton served as a pinch-runner on Wednesday, stole a base and scored the game-winning run, so he should be fine moving forward. The speedy outfielder should be back in the lineup this weekend. Despite disappointing fantasy owners countless times, Buxton remains worth owning in all leagues for his mix of power and speed.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
