Jose Berrios, Twins Have No-Hitter Going
4 years agoMinnesota Twins starter Jose Berrios threw six no-hit innings in his first start of the season against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday night. Opposing pitcher Corbin Burnes also had a no-hitter going until he lost it in the seventh inning when Byron Buxton took him deep. Berrios departed after six innings and had thrown 55 of his 84 pitches for strikes. He had a K-BB of 12-0. He was replaced by reliever Taylor Rogers who struck out the side in the seventh inning on 13 pitches. The game is currently in the top of the eighth inning with the no-hitter intact and the score 1-0 for Minnesota.
