Week 7 Kicker Streamers and Starts - 2025 Fantasy Tiers, Rankings

Cam Little - Fantasy Football Kicker Streamers, Waiver Wire Pickups, Rankings

Kacey Kasem looks at all 2025 fantasy football Week 7 kickers -- streamers, starts, sits, targets, avoids, and waiver wire pickups. Our Week 7 rankings and tiers for all of the NFL kickers.

If you thought the kicker position would be drama-free this season, you were very mistaken. Last week alone, Brandon McManus sat out with a quad injury, Joey Slye and Jason Sanders were banged up, and lots of practice squad kickers are getting reps.

And there were plenty more storylines to come out of last week. Evan McPherson's 67-yard field goal would have broken the NFL record, but unfortunately, it was wiped out by a last-second timeout. And Joshua Karty had all Rams fans wanting to kick him after missing yet another try.

You know this by now, but kickers are anything but boring. A lot is going on with kickers this week (as usual), and I'm here to help you through the kicker chaos. Whether you're looking for streaming gold or debating who to sit at the kicker position, let's dive into the Week 7 names that you need to know.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Kicker Streamers to Target for Week 7

Only players rostered in fewer than 60% of fantasy football leagues are considered streamers.

Eddy Pineiro (SF) vs. Atlanta Falcons
28% Rostered

One of the bright spots for those who stream kickers this season has been the rise of Pineiro in the San Francisco kick game. He's already tallied three double-digit contests, and Week 6 was his best game yet.

He had 18 fantasy points against the Buccaneers after going 4-for-4 on field goals and connecting on his one extra point. Two of his kicks came from beyond 50 yards, displaying his leg's accuracy and distance.

Week 7's contest is against the Falcons in a matchup you want to attack. Atlanta has conceded the fourth-most fantasy points to kickers and ranks near the top in opponent field goal tries. The 49ers' offense tends to stall in opposing territory, meaning Pineiro sees work.

When the waiver wire is thin, you want a kicker who can knock it in from a distance and has no accuracy issues. Few kickers give you as much upside as Pineiro, playing like a top-12 option right now. If he's available, run to waivers and pick him up.

Wil Lutz (DEN) vs. New York Giants
22% Rostered

Few kickers have been as reliable this season as Lutz, who has been a steady part of an unsteady offense. The kicker is 7-of-8 on field goal attempts and a perfect 14-for-14 on extra points this year.

In Week 6, he converted both field goal attempts and his only extra point attempt in the win over the Jets. That makes eight-plus fantasy points in four of the first six matchups.

Heading into Week 7, he takes on the Giants, a defense that bends but doesn't break. This situation sets up nicely for the kicker, as drives that stall in the 35-50 yard range will lead to field goal tries.

Lutz isn't a flashy play, but he is a steady one. If you're looking for points and want to feel safe at the position, plug him in and have peace of mind.

Ka'imi Fairbairn (HOU) at Seattle Seahawks
23% Rostered

In Week 5's performance against Baltimore, Fairbairn was perfect, knocking in three field goals and all five extra point attempts. On the season, the kicker is 11-for-14 on field goals and 9-for-9 on extra points.

His long-range attempts, including kicks of 50 and 57 in the contest with the Ravens, keep him a fantasy-relevant play despite times Houston slows down.

Now, coming off a bye, Fairbairn is immediately in a good spot. He'll face the Seahawks this week, a defense that forces long drives that stall. Fairbairn shines as a kicker who can boot those 50-plus kicks with ease, so he should see an abundance of work in this one.

The 31-year-old is as trustworthy as they come and is still available on waivers in many leagues. If someone dropped him during the bye, it's time for you to pick him up. He's a top-10 kicker this season and belongs on all rosters.

Kickers to Avoid for Week 7

Evan McPherson (CIN) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
26% Rostered

It's still not McPherson's fault. I've talked about the Bengals' kicker before, but he can't kick if the offense doesn't put him in position. With Joe Burrow (toe) sidelined, this unit is struggling to accomplish anything. In Week 6, the result was a three-point fantasy outing for the kicker.

This week's matchup won't make it easier for McPherson. He'll face Pittsburgh, a team allowing the eighth-fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers. They will force teams to stall out or risk it on fourth down. The Cincinnati offense looks lost, and Joe Flacco needs to settle in as a new addition under center.

Lack of opportunities keeps McPherson out of starting contention this week, and possibly for the foreseeable future. He's a talented leg, but until the Bengals get back on track -- he's a bench/drop candidate, and certainly not a recommended start.

Joshua Karty (LAR) at Jacksonville Jaguars (London)
22% Rostered

As with a lot of kickers this season, Karty has had an up-and-down go of it. In Week 6, he went 1-for-2 on field goals while connecting on both of his point-after tries. The field goal he missed? A 26-yard doink, which was his fourth miss of the year. Additionally, head coach Sean McVay has already highlighted the need for better special teams protection, as multiple kicks have been blocked.

None of that brings confidence as the Rams head to London in a matchup with the Jaguars. Jacksonville allows the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers while limiting drives.

He'll be kicking at Wembley Stadium, and the conditions there could get tricky, depending on the wind. Keep an eye on that as we head into the weekend.

At this point, it's hard to have confidence in Karty. The Rams have little faith in him from short range, and that's an issue. He'll see some volume in this one, but the risk outweighs the reward. Pivot to a kicker you don't have to stress over.

Daniel Carlson (LV) at Kansas City Chiefs
24% Rostered

It's been an odd season for Carlson. He continues to make kicks, hitting on both of his field goals and extra points in Week 6, including one that came from 50 yards. On the season, he's 11-of-14 on field goals and a perfect 8-for-8 on extra points.

Four of his makes have come from 50-plus, so the leg is there. The problem is the Raiders aren't giving him many consistent chances. The offense has stumbled out of the gates. Turnovers and stalled drives have seen him go from being busy one week to disappearing the next.

Facing the Chiefs this week only adds concerns as they've allowed the tenth-fewest fantasy points to kickers this year and have given up just nine field goals all season.

Carlson is always in contention for big games, as we've already seen three double-digit outings from him this season. Still, he's posted five or fewer points in just as many. The inconsistency makes it just too hard to trust him for now. It's time to find a streamer until the offense makes a change.
