Jaxon Smith-Njigba - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Nick Mariano's rest-of-season fantasy football rankings for Week 6 in half-PPR and full-PPR leagues. Set winning lineups with our updated Week 6 fantasy football ranks for 2025.

Five weeks of football may have you thinking you know everything about the 2025 season, but try to keep our wits about us as we construct an updated rest-of-season rankings sheet. We're being tested by several premier injuries each week, and now ensuring you possess depth becomes even more important as the byes hit. Let's pull away from the pack with our Week 6 fantasy football half-PPR rankings for the rest of 2025 as of October 8.

Be sure to inspect the ranks of key players, such as Rico Dowdle, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Kimani Vidal, Stefon Diggs, Darren Waller, and others. Those who remain the most prepared are best suited to roll with the punches and emerge victorious. Let's see if we can spark some fun trades or adds for you on your quest for glory!

Be sure to bookmark our fantasy football rankings portal and check back regularly for updates. In addition to these half-PPR rankings, we now have full-PPR ranks in a second table, and you should also read our fantasy football articles and analysis -- our NFL team discusses lineup sleepers, busts, NFL players to start and sit, waiver-wire pickups, and so much more.

Notable Fantasy Football Questions Going into Week 6

  • Will Philadelphia revert to a run-heavy attack in a tilted matchup against the Giants on a short week?
  • Does the Jets defense leave room for RJ Harvey to break out after J.K. Dobbins gets his piece?
  • How can Baltimore stabilize amidst myriad injuries to both offense and defense?
  • Can Bryce Young do enough to create a shootout with Dallas?
  • How will the Chargers' backfield shake out against a horrid Miami defense, or do they pass, pass, and pass some more?
  • Will the Steelers reward Kenneth Gainwell's big game with a fantasy-saddening split with Jaylen Warren?
  • Do the Saints keep ramping up Kendre Miller's rushing work?
  • Can Geno Smith rebound at home, or is that entire offense on hold until Brock Bowers is healthy?
  • How do the Bengals try to capture that garbage-time momentum all game at Green Bay?
  • Do we get to enjoy three primetime slugfests between DET/KC, BUF/ATL, and CHI/WAS?

These half-PPR and full-PPR fantasy football rankings are put together by Nick Mariano and aim to assist fantasy football managers in reorienting expectations as each week goes by.

Rest of Season Outlooks

Emeka Egbuka, WR - TB (No. 22)

Emeka Egbuka is shaping up to be the greatest value in fantasy drafts this season. The former Ohio State standout has yet to slow down and is quickly taking over the WR1 role in Tampa Bay. Throughout his first five games in the NFL, Egbuka has found the back of the end zone five times and caught 25 passes for 445 yards.

While he has yet to play a game alongside both Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin, given his high target share, he may continue to operate as the lead option in the passing attack, even when all three are on the field at the same time. Evans' lingering hamstring injury will continue to keep Egbuka in low-end WR1 territory for the foreseeable future.

Even when Evans returns, Egbuka should still hold high-end WR2 upside.

Tee Higgins, WR - CIN (No. 69)

After a career season in 2024, Higgins has been one of the biggest disappointments at the WR position, especially for those who selected him in the third round of drafts. Higgins has caught only two touchdown passes and is averaging 31.6 yards per game.

While Jake Browning was unable to support both Ja'Marr Chase and Higgins, the Bengals recently acquired veteran Joe Flacco from the Cleveland Browns. Flacco did not look overly impressive with Cleveland this season, but he could find more success in this offense. With improved QB play, expect Higgins to climb these rankings over the next month.

While he may not push for high-end WR2 value as he would with Joe Burrow (toe) under center, he could still carry must-start WR3 value going forward.

Jameson Williams, WR - DET (No. 71)

In the offseason, Williams signed a three-year extension with Detroit worth $83 million, signing him to a breakout campaign in 2025. However, Williams has only tallied double-digit PPR points once this season and is quickly dropping in our rankings.

Removing his 18.8 PPR showing in Week 2, Williams has averaged a low 28.8 yards per game during Weeks 1, 3, 4, and 5. He projects to carry risky FLEX upside for the foreseeable future. Given the crowded nature of the Detroit offense, Williams will likely continue to fall short of expectations and be very difficult to trust on a weekly basis.

Stefon Diggs, WR - NE (No. 58)

The 31-year-old suffered a torn ACL in October 2024 and needed some time to find his footing. However, in each of his past two games, Diggs has not only claimed the WR1 role in this offense but has looked like his former self. In Weeks 4 and 5, Diggs posted back-to-back 100+ yard performances and caught 16 of his 19 targets.

During Weeks 1 through 3, Diggs caught 13 of his 15 targets for only 112 yards. Given Kayshon Boutte's inconsistent production, Diggs has a clear path to remain Drake Maye's go-to target for the remainder of the season. Maye has continued to show strong progression and is becoming one of the sport's next breakout QBs.

Given his current role in New England, Diggs could find himself in the top 50 in the near future.

Rico Dowdle, RB - CAR (No. 114)

After totaling over 1,000 rushing yards in Dallas last season, Dowdle moved to Carolina in the offseason and was deployed as the clear No. 2 to Chuba Hubbard throughout the opening month. However, with Hubbard sitting out in Week 5 due to a calf injury, Dowdle was able to take on the start's workload and did not disappoint. On 23 carries, Dowdle totaled an impressive 206 yards and a score.

While Dowdle could maintain this value in the short term, as Hubbard could also sit out in Week 6, his strong play could push him into a committee role in the long term. Through the first four games, Dowdle only logged double-digit carries in one game.

However, given his near-perfect showing in the spot-start, Dowdle could provide FLEX value even when Hubbard returns.
