Zack Wheeler Throws Six Innings Against Padres Sunday
                
        
        Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack  Wheeler allowed three hits and two earned runs in six innings of work in the fifth game of the National League Championship Series on Sunday. The veteran also struck out eight batters on the day while registering 11 swinging strikes and a quality 33% CSW rate. The Phillies didn't take the lead until the eighth inning when Wheeler had already departed, but it was a strong start nonetheless. The right-hander has allowed just five earned runs in 25.1 postseason innings this year, good for a 1.78 ERA. He's also logged a 2.36 FIP in those 25.1 innings with 25 strikeouts compared to just three walks allowed.
