Zack Moss "Trending In The Right Direction"
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss (arm) suffered a broken arm on July 31 that required offseason surgery. However, Colts head coach Shane Steichen said the 25-year-old running back's recovery is going well. "He's trending in the right direction," Steichen said. "Hopefully he'll be out there Week 1." If healthy, Moss is expected to be the lead back in the absence of Jonathan Taylor (ankle) who is on the Physically Unable to Perform list and will be out for at least four games. That said, Moss' upside could be mightily limited by a poor overall offense. Rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson will also likely vulture rushing touchdowns near the goal line. If Moss misses Week 1, Deon Jackson and Evan Hull are expected to split backfield duties.
