2 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Zack Kelly (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Sunday. The 28-year-old had been on the 15-day IL after exiting Wednesday's meeting with the Tampa Bay Rays because of right elbow inflammation. But he'll now need to see a specialist, which is never an encouraging sign. Kelly had a 3.68 ERA and six strikeouts in six games before succumbing to the injury. However, his current ailment appears worse than initially anticipated, so he'll spend more time on the shelf.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
