Zack Britton Experiencing General Soreness Following Simulated Game
4 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Zack Britton (elbow) is experiencing "general soreness" following his simulated game on Saturday. Manager Aaron Boone said that Britton has been scheduled to see a doctor and that the team is "hopeful that it won't be significant." The southpaw was slated to begin a rehab assignment this week, though that may have to be pushed back, something Boone alluded to. Britton had been progressing nicely, so hopefully, this is just a minor setback. He's a wise stash option in leagues that count holds.
