Zach Plesac Forced to Exit After a Rain Delay
5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Zach Plesac was pitching well on Tuesday but was forced to exit early due to an extended rain delay. Plesac, who had just been called back up, tossed three hitless innings, allowing just a walk while throwing 39 pitches. The Cleveland bullpen ended up allowing only one hit the rest of the night, so Plesac set a good example. He's shown the upside to make a difference in mixed leagues, and even leads the league in pickoffs despite making just nine starts.
