Los Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto (back) has been scratched from the starting lineup ahead of Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. It appears the 22-year-old is dealing with back tightness. Halos manager Phil Nevin said the team is hopeful it's just a minor issue and Neto only misses one game because of it. In the meantime, Andrew Velazquez will cover shortstop versus left-hander Ryan Borucki on Saturday.--Andy Webb
