Zach Neto Hitting Eighth Monday
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels rookie shortstop Zach Neto (back) has returned to the starting lineup on Monday and is playing shortstop and batting eighth in the order against Atlanta Braves right-hander Charlie Morton. Neto was originally scratched from the lineup on July 22 with a back injury, and he's played in just four games since then due to the injury. The 22-year-old has also really struggled offensively since the All-Star break, going 8-for-37 (.216) with two home runs, a double, six RBI and seven runs scored in eight games played. Hopefully Neto can pick it up with the stick soon once he moves past his back injury, but fantasy managers are going to have a lower fantasy ceiling until he moves back to the top of the batting order.
