2 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop prospect Zach Neto and pitching prospect Ben Joyce are among the team's 38 non-roster invites to major-league spring training this year. Both Neto and Joyce were drafted in 2022. MLB Pipeline had Neto listed as the Angels' No. 2 prospect, while Joyce landed at No. 12. Neto made a strong professional debut at High-A Tri-City and Double-A Rocket City, slashing a combined .299/.377/.476 with five home runs, 27 RBI and five stolen bases in 37 games. The 22-year-old could be on the fast track to the big leagues in the next few years. Joyce, a third-rounder, can hit triple digits with his fastball. He had a strong 2.08 ERA with 20 strikeouts and four walks in 13 innings for Double-A Rocket City in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
