5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz (kidney, rib), who is out for Week 17 against the Giants, is dealing with a cracked rib and a lacerated kidney, according to sources. Ertz was in the hospital after Week 16, but he's not being ruled out for a potential wild-card game next week if the Eagles beat New York on Sunday. Philly can still clinch a playoff berth if they lose and Dallas also loses. Ertz leads the Eagles in catches and yards, but his absence is especially disturbing for the regular season finale with receivers Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson and Nelson Agholor all out. Dallas Goedert, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward will be quarterback Carson Wentz's top three aerial targets. Goedert will be a high-end TE1 this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
