Zach Eflin To Have Side Examined

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zach Eflin (side) will head back to Philadelphia for an exam on his "left side." Eflin has been dealing with the injury for roughly two weeks and is likely done for the remainder of the season. The right-hander allowed five hits and five earned runs in just 2 2/3 innings on the road against the Rockies on Monday before leaving his outing. He'll finish with an 11-8 record, 4.36 ERA and 8.65 K/9 in 24 starts. Eflin finished on a sour note, but his strikeout upside gives fantasy owners hope for the future.
