4 months agoHouston Astros third base prospect Zach Dezenzo is being promoted to Triple-A Sugar Land, according to MiLB Central. Dezenzo has dealt with a lingering wrist injury all season, which has limited his playing time. Through 22 games at Double-A this season, the former 12th-round selection has held a .222/.308/.370 line with two home runs, seven RBI, and a 9:23 BB:K ratio. However, last summer, the Ohio State product split time at High and Double-A and held an excellent .304/.383/.531 slash line with 18 home runs, 61 RBI, and 22 swiped bags. Dezenzo is considered the fourth-best prospect in the Houston system on MLB.com and is worth keeping a close eye on, as he could push for a late-season major league debut.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
