Zach Davies Likely To Make Two More Rehab Starts
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Zach Davies (shoulder) got through his rehab start on Wednesday without any physical setbacks, but he's likely to make at least two more rehab starts in the minors before returning from the disabled list. Davies hasn't pitched in a big league game since May 29, so the Brewers are making sure he's completely ready. Plus, they don't have a real need in the starting rotation right now. Davies wasn't particularly great before his injury either, going 2-5 with a 5.23 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and weak 6.5 K/9 over eight starts.
