Zac Gallen Posts Another Quality Start Tuesday
5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks right-hander Zac Gallen was brilliant again on Tuesday in a tough-luck loss to the New York Mets. Gallen threw six innings, allowing three runs on five hits to go along with nine strikeouts. The rookie's stuff was so good that he struck out the Mets' Jeff McNeil in all three of his first three plate appearances, despite him being one of the best pure hitters in the National League. Gallen's ERA sits at a tidy 2.66 and he is now a set it and forget it fantasy option. He will square off against the Reds on Sunday.
