Zac Gallen Throws Simulated Game Saturday
4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Zac Gallen (forearm) threw a simulated game on Saturday. Gallen tossed 60 pitches at a game intensity and reportedly felt normal fatigue following the outing. The 25-year-old likely was unable to throw curveballs during Saturday's outing- as he felt pain when trying to throw the pitch- though manager Torey Lovullo said that the next step is an "all-pitch" bullpen session, possibly on Monday. It's a good sign to see Gallen building back up, so hopefully, he can continue to progress without any setbacks.
