Yuli Gurriel Can't Be Contained
5 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel went 4-for-6 with two doubles and three runs scored Sunday against the Orioles. Gurriel has been an unstoppable force since June 23, going 58-for-150 (.386) with 13 doubles, 18 home runs and 49 runs batted in spanning only 37 games. It has been an unbelievable turnaround for the 35-year-old, who posted a .482 slugging percentage before the All-Star game and has posted a .733 slugging since. He has gone from fringe fantasy asset to an absolute must-start and is only four RBI short of his career-high with a month and a half of baseball to play. Gurriel shows little signs of slowing down and will be a fantastic DFS play all week.
