Yu Darvish Posts 3.07 ERA Over Five June Starts
3 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Yu Darvish has been as consistently dominant as just about any starting pitcher in the game so far this year. He posted a 2.13 ERA in April and a 2.20 ERA in May. He had one rough outing at Coors Field in June where he allowed four earned runs over five innings. That start is mostly to blame for his 3.07 ERA in June, which is still hard to complain about. He allowed two or less runs in each of his other four starts in June. Darvish ranks in the 90th percentile in both xERA (2.84) and xwOBA (.267). His first start of July will come on Saturday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
