Yu Darvish Not Worried About Tightness In His Triceps
2 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Yu Darvish (triceps) left Thursday's game after six innings of work due to tightness in his triceps, according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune. However, manager Bob Melvin told reporters that he'll make his next start, and the right-hander was confident that the injury isn't a concern. The 36-year-old Darvish is in the midst of his 11th season in the big leagues and owns a 3.16 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 47 strikeouts and two victories over seven starts and 42.2 innings.
