6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (heels) said he is unsure if he can finish out the season, as he's dealing with calcification in both of his heels. The only way to fix the issue is with surgery. Cespedes is considering surgery in the offseason, but the recovery time would be around eight to 10 months, which would mean he'd likely miss the start of the 2019 season. With Cespedes, it seems like the injury news just never ends. He had a successful return from a long stint on the disabled list on Friday by hitting a home run, but he's not in the lineup on Saturday.
