Yimi Garcia Picks Up Save Number 13 On Saturday
3 years agoMiami Marlins closer Yimi Garcia saved his 13th game of the season in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Atlanta Braves. Garcia was asked to deliver the one-run win for the Marlins and did just that, allowing only an infield hit in a scoreless ninth inning that included a strikeout of Ronald Acuña, who represented the tying run. Garcia has a 2.61 ERA, but he's in a strange spot in terms of fantasy value. Besides the fact that he may be traded and end up no longer closing, he also has a lot of peripheral stats that show he's due for heavy regression. Those two things combined make him a pretty good sell-high right now.
