Arizona Diamondbacks pitching prospect Yilber Diaz fired six no-hit innings with a career-high 13 strikeouts for Triple-A Reno on Monday. Diaz struck out seven batters in a row on his way to tying the franchise single-game strikeout mark. The Diamondbacks' No. 16 prospect moved on from a rough June to turn in a dominant start and lower his season ERA to 4.03 and his WHIP to 1.24 across two levels. The 23-year-old has racked up 105 strikeouts in 76 innings this season. The strikeout rate is gold for fantasy purposes. If Diaz shows some more consistency and harnesses his control, he could push for a big-league promotion which would make him an interesting potential waiver-wire name.--Brian Buckey - RotoBallerRead More News
