3 years agoChicago White Sox catcher Yasmani Grandal has had a mixed season overall, but one category where he's really boosted fantasy managers is in walks. Grandal currently leads the league with a 26.8% walk rate, which is first in the league by a decent margin as Christian Yelich is second amongst qualified hitters with a 20.7% walk rate. Grandal is only hitting .156 on the year, but he has a .386 on-base percentage. He has 10 home runs and a 54.3% hard-hit rate that ranks in the 96th percentile. In many leagues, his batting average might be crushing fantasy managers, but his overall numbers show a very solid all-around hitter still.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
