Yankees Out On Robbie Ray
Talks between the New York Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks regarding starting pitcher Robbie Ray are now dead, according to team officials. For Ray's fantasy owners, this is probably a good thing, as it would've been tough for him to be successful consistently in the American League East and in a hitter's park. The left-hander could still be traded before Wednesday's deadline, though, so stay tuned. The 27-year-old has a 3.91 ERA and an impressive 173 strikeouts in 129 innings (23 starts), but his propensity to walk hitters and give up gopher balls hurts him on occasion.
