2 years agoThe New York Yankees are reportedly free-agent starter "Carlos Rodon's preferred destination," per a tweet from NJ.com's Brendan Kuty on Tuesday. Kuty tweeted the following: "FWIW, I'm told the Yankees are Carlos Rodon's preferred destination, but that the Twins and the Cardinals are believed to be seriously in play as of this afternoon." Rodon pitched to a 2.88 ERA and a 2.25 FIP in 178 innings for the San Francisco Giants last season, logging 237 strikeouts compared to 52 walks allowed in the process for the National League West franchise. New York's current rotation options include the likes of Gerrit Cole, Nestor Cortes, Frankie Montas, Luis Severino, Domingo German and Clarke Schmidt.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
