7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals utility player Yairo Munoz has made the Opening Day roster. Munoz beat out Harrison Bader and Luke Voit for the last spot on the roster. He hit three home runs and slashed a strong .376/.423/.625 in Grapefruit League play. Acquired in the Stephen Piscotty trade, Munoz can play in the infield and in the outfield. His versatility will get him a decent number of at bats, but likely not enough to have mixed league relevance unless someone ahead of him gets hurt.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
