Xavier Isaac Hits First Double-A Homer
4 months agoTampa Bay Rays first base prospect Xavier Isaac connected for his first home run at Double-A Montgomery on Sunday. In his third game for the Biscuits, Isaac went 2-for-5 with the round-tripper. The Rays' No. 3 prospect has 16 homers and 65 RBI while hitting .290 with 14 stolen bases. That kind of five-category production is rare for a first baseman and Isaac is doing all of that at just 20 years old. The Rays may have found a gem in Isaac and he profiles as one of the top first-base prospects at the position. His complete hitting repertoire makes him a potential future fantasy stud.
