Xander Bogaerts Reaches Base In 29th Consecutive Game
3 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts reached base for the 29th consecutive game during a 5-4 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Monday. The now three-time All-Star drew a walk in the first inning against Angels starting pitcher Jose Suarez. Bogaerts finished the night 0-for-4 while scoring a run in the fifth inning. The 28-year-old owns a .321/.385/.533 slash line to pair with 13 homers, 48 RBI, 53 runs and five stolen bases over 80 games. The Red Sox shortstop is one of the most underrated stars in baseball and should remain a fantasy force as he continues in his prime.
