X-Rays Negative On Eloy Jimenez
2 years agoX-rays came back negative on Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (elbow) after he was forced to leave the game early on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles after getting hit in the left elbow by a pitch. Jimenez is considered day-to-day with a bruise, so he dodged a bullet and shouldn't have to go on the injured list. The 25-year-old went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and two walks before departing the contest, and he's now hitting .306/.372/.465 with an .836 OPS, seven home runs, 28 RBI and 19 runs scored in 191 plate appearances over 49 games played. Fantasy managers will need to check back on Wednesday to see if Jimenez is in the lineup against right-hander Spencer Watkins and the Orioles.
