X-Rays Negative On Byron Buxton's Hand
6 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton's (hand) X-rays came back negative on his left hand after he injured it on a swing in the minors on Thursday. He will now go for an MRI exam, but he hasn't been placed on the minor league disabled list. It's good news, but he's not out of the woods yet. Buxton has been a bust for the Twins aside from a solid second half last season, and he was hitting just .156 with no homers, four RBI and five steals in 90 at-bats in the majors this year. This latest injury surely won't help him make it back to Minnesota anytime soon.
