Wyatt Langford Back For The Rangers
4 months agoTexas Rangers rookie outfielder Wyatt Langford (back) is back in the team's starting lineup on Monday against the visiting division-rival Houston Astros and right-hander Hunter Brown, serving as the designated hitter and batting fifth. Back tightness kept Langford out of the lineup on both Saturday and Sunday, but he's back now and can be reinserted into starting fantasy lineups. The 22-year-old hasn't had a ton of counting stats for fantasy managers in his first major-league season, but he's been decent overall and is currently slashing .245/.309/.375 with six home runs, 44 RBI, nine stolen bases and 37 runs scored in 86 games played. Since the All-Star break, he's hitting only .200 (11-for-55) with a homer, four doubles, four RBI, five walks, 13 strikeouts and a stolen base in 14 games.
