9 months agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson looks set to suit up for a different team next season, and the Washington Wizards are reportedly one of the clubs interested in his services. According to NBA insider Ian Begley, Robinson has "come up" in trade talks between Washington and New York. Last season, Isaiah Hartenstein outplayed Robinson, who battled an ankle injury, leaving the big man from Florida with an uncertain future. However, a move away from New York would definitely boost his fantasy value if Hartenstein remains in the Big Apple. Robinson appears to be a good fit for the Wizards, whose lack of depth under the rim resulted in Kyle Kuzma logging center minutes over the final stretch of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will be in the lineup on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks are entering a back-to-back set, and Robinson was initially uncertain for the game after being labeled as questionable on the injury report. Now that he has been upgraded to available, it's reasonable to assume that Robinson will not play in Thursday's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets as he continues to recover from ankle surgery. Since his season debut in late February, Robinson has contributed 4.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game. Precious Achiuwa should fill Robinson's minutes in Thursday's game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoOn Friday, New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is unavailable against the Los Angeles Clippers. Thursday night, Robinson played 13 minutes off the bench in an overtime loss to the Lakers. He recently returned to action after recovering from an off-season ankle procedure. Holding the 26-year-old out of action likely shows the Knicks' being cautious as they are on the second leg of a back-to-back set. While Robinson is sidelined, Precious Achiuwa (hamstring) will likely see an expanded role this evening if he's cleared to play.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will be in the lineup on Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Knicks listed Robinson as questionable for the game on the initial injury report. His status has now been upgraded to available, with Robinson ready to make his fourth appearance since recovering from ankle surgery. Robinson will play a limited role behind starting center Karl-Anthony Towns (personal), who returns from a one-game absence. The 26-year-old has averaged 4.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in 13.7 minutes so far.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 weeks agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The big man suited up on Tuesday, but he was only able to play 15 minutes during that game. The Knicks continue to be cautious with the 26-year-old while he works his way back to full health. Precious Achiuwa (hamstring) would likely benefit if Robinson is unable to play, but he's also on the injury report. This could end up being a busy night for Karl-Anthony Towns if both players are unable to go.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
