6 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos (hamstring) is going to miss some time. He has already taken himself out of the All-Star game which he was excited to play in. There is a lot of speculation as to how long he will be out but nothing definite. Ramos is expected to be placed on the disabled list once the team returns from the break. Chances are fairly strong that his absence will be measured in multiple weeks, if not months. The injury severely limits the chances he will be traded. If Ramos can return before the beginning of September, he will still have value in some leagues. Jesus Sucre is the major beneficiary.--Jamie Mellor
