6 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Wilmer Font earned the win Saturday versus New York. He held them scoreless for 5 2/3 innings while only giving up three hits to the powerhouse. Font's last two starts have been against the mighty Bronx Bombers and he has responded going 10 1/3 innings allowing only one run combined. Font played for Oakland and the Dodgers in 2018 before getting to the Rays. He struggled mightily in those two stops but with the Rays, he has provided positive numbers. He is becoming interesting in deeper leagues and probably should be picked up in many AL-only formats.--Jamie Mellor
