Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras went 2-for-4 Friday with a double and a run scored. Tyler Mahle was dealing in this one and Contreras' run in the fifth inning was the only run he allowed. Contreras is now slashing a healthy .287/.371/.469 on the season with seven home runs, 31 runs, 34 RBI and three stolen bases. While the power is slightly down from last season, he has improved his average, on-base percentage and strikeout-to-walk rate. His three stolen bases as a catcher have been a nice bonus as well.--Feldman Zach
