6 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Willians Astudillo (hamstring) ran some sprints in the outfield before the game on Wednesday and is looking like he'll return sooner than later. He is eligible to return from the injured list next Wednesday. La Tortuga has become fantasy relevant in most leagues by hitting .327/.340/.531 with two home runs and seven RBI in 49 at-bats for the Twins. He doesn't play every day, but his contact-oriented approach and knack for avoiding strikeouts makes him attractive in deep mixed and AL-only leagues.
