William Smith Is Extra-Innings Hero On Wednesday
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers catcher William Smith was 1-for-3 with a walk-off single during Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 25-year-old is slashing .208/.386/.491 with four homers and 12 RBI through 53 at-bats this season. Smith has one of the worst discrepancies in baseball when looking at his expected statistics, as his expected batting average sits at .302, meaning he has been incredibly unlucky. Couple that with his 10/16 K/BB rate, and it appears a Smith breakout is right around the corner. If you are desperate for a catcher and he is available, make sure to snag him.
