Will Dissly Draws Praise From Coaches
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks rookie tight end Will Dissly surprised everyone in Week 1 when the expected blocking tight end led the squad in receiving yards in his first pro game. Dissly also snagged his first career touchdown and made everyone reconsider what they thought about his future. Offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer implied to reporters this week that he knew about Dissly's offensive prowess all along and compared him to the other "complete tight ends" in the league. Given Schotty's praise and comparison, it seems likely that Dissly will see more targets in the passing game moving forward. He could prove to be a waiver wire hero if he can continue to perform anywhere like that in the future.
