Wil Myers Gets Afternoon Off Sunday
3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers is not in the starting lineup on Sunday afternoon. It looks to just be a day off for Myers, who has played in 20 of the team's last 23 games. He's been mired in a bit of a funk at the plate recently, as he's slashing .200/.238/.350 with one home run, one RBI and a run scored over his last seven games. He'll try to shake off the recent hitting woes when he returns to the lineup, but in the meantime Jurickson Profar will get the start in right field on Sunday and bat seventh against the Phillies.
