2 years agoThe Chicago White Sox are calling up prospect Lenyn Sosa from Triple-A on Tuesday, according to James Fegan of The Athletic. The 23-year-old has been tearing up Minor League pitching thus far, as he's slashing .448/.556/.828 with two home runs across nine games. Sosa made his Major League debut in 2022 and hit a paltry .114 with a .367 OPS. Obviously, he'll be looking to improve this time around and show off his hitting and power potential that made him Chicago's eighth-ranked prospect, as per MLB Pipeline. Sosa can play both middle infield spots, so he might get everyday reps if Tim Anderson (knee) has to miss time after injuring his knee on Monday. He isn't a must-add, just a deep-league player at this point.--Spencer Seguin
