6 years agoWebb Simpson will attempt to win his second U.S. Open championship this week at Shinnecock Hills. Simpson captured his only major championship title at the 2012 U.S. Open that was held at the Olympic Club. Simpson has struggled in subsequent versions of the U.S. Open, having never cracked the top 25 since winning the title. The 32-year-old enters this week in excellent form, dominating the field en route to winning The Players Championship last month. Simpson's recent success is largely the result of a vastly improved putting stroke. He ranks fifth in Strokes Gained: Putting in 2018, compared to 88th in the same category during the 2017 season. The notoriously slippery greens at Shinnecock Hills will put Simpson's short game to the test this week. He is an excellent DFS option at his moderate $7,700 DraftKings price tag and will be a popular play in all fantasy formats.--Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
