7 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds is expected to return Wednesday after missing the last seven games with an upper-body injury. The power forward will start on the third line with Valterri Filppula and Jordan Weal but will resume his role on the top power-play unit. With 37 points in 59 games this season, Simmonds has been somewhat of a disappointment for fantasy owners and will likely miss the 30-goal plateau for the first time in three years. However, he remains an elite force in multi-category leagues and is always capable of exploding on the score sheet, so get him off your Injured Reserve and onto your roster.--Barry Miles
