With the ninth pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards have drafted Gonzaga forward Rui Hachimura. With Gonzaga, Hachimura was a strong offensive option near the basket and in the mid-range, but there are questions about if he can do more offensively, especially in terms of stretching his game out to the perimeter. His defense is a bigger question mark, and it’ll be interesting to see where he fits onto an NBA team. He has a great wingspan, but was mainly a three in college, while he’ll have to play the four as a professional due to his lack of shooting range. Hachimura has room to develop, but he’s not a great fantasy option right off the bat next season on a Wizards team whose outlook is really difficult to understand. Take a wait and see approach with Hachimura until we see how the Wizards will use him.--Justin Carter - RotoBallerRead More News
